Rocket launch 001 complete

It’s been silent here on emails.

I’ve been immersed in the mountains and teaching over in Canada. I launched my first Rocket TT at a dear friend’s studio in Banff called Flow State.

The week was truly something I will treasure in my heart. I know you hear me say this after pretty much every training or retreat. But it is true. Each one is special and dear in its own way, with its memory embedding a unique pathway in my heart and mind that I can revisit in years to come.

People fully stepped into their practice, empowered and autonomous. Barriers broke, tears were shed, and sweat was abundant; we even had the news of being blessed with a new human life soon to enter this world. All whilst peering through the window into the humbling landscape of snow-laced mountain peaks.

And, of course, some bodies indulged in some ice river swims to recover and cool off.

It rings through every time I throw myself into training or retreat, but on this one, it rang louder than ever. The power of coming together, moving and breathing as one, sharing our experiences through conversation, acknowledging and exploring in fullness one’s own humanity, the expression of sensation and emotions, getting out of mind and into heart and body, is something to which I cannot fully describe into words its magic. But I know that you, as a student/teacher/practitioner, have felt this in some way, shape or form, which I probably can bet is a major player in bringing you back onto the mat.

This practice of yoga is a wonderful expression of human physical form. Still, if we look deeper into how we or others move, each moment, posture, and breath is a step into our own expression and experience within our humanity, learning what it is for us to be individually and collectively human, what it means to feel and be within sensations and emotions, to tap into our truth and heart, expand with love and devotion, and let that radiate out into the world.

Humbling. Beautiful. Expansive.

As you read this, I’m either on a plane or touching down in El Salvador to prep for the next adventure: another week of sun-kissed magic, laughter, sweat, all the yoga, and whatever else it brings with it. And I can’t wait.

I know we are just in March, and many plans are still being put into place, but I will say to you that the remaining training and retreats for the year are filling up their spots quickly. I have a few more Rocket training sessions to commence, alongside a full week in the motherland of India for continued education training. This will be a week for teachers to dive into their practice as a whole and expand their skills and offerings.

I look forward to seeing you in the magic of the practice somewhere,

Miles
